Drake now has the longest run of #1 song and #1 album, since 50 Cent in 2005

2 big things in his favour

1) he had the child star setup, childrens network to music.
JT, Brittney, Miley Cyrus etc. all had this

2) He is jewish (this is bigger deal than you even realize)

you for got add Jimmy Iovine into the equation of #2. the entire music industry is ran by Jews. it's a bloodline thing when it revolves around Drake i'm guessing.

Drake is alright, but i still think 50 accomplishment was bigger, especially considering his content filled with violence and generic singles catering to female audiences... Drake took 7 years to do it, and only tie, not surpass what 50 did.. Still, congratulations for him... No hate towards drake

Them streams. And streams counting as albums is helping him.

It's a good thing though. Because with as famous as he is he'd be 10x platinum if he were Ina a different generation where people actually buy albums.
:heh:

Think about the competition he would have in the generation where people actually bought albums

Whether he's relevant or not. 50's album was Rap/HipHop. Views isn't.

Not only that....there wasn't "streaming" #'s back then.

i consider The Massacre a crossover rap album, them singles weren't really true hip hop. GRODT, Guess Who's Back & Power Of The Dollar are his only true hip hop albums IMO.
