Cause we never saw drake in interviews in 2010 being exactly the same, lol.

Cause Jay-Z on the radio/interviews.....outside of the booth does not have his "rap swag". Before Drake....Jay-Z was the worse offender of the rap voice not matching his real life voice (heard every verse, bought volumer 2, the blueprint, blueprint 2, best of both worlds 2, and black album....and burned the others).

We all can't be in character like Rick Ross (I bought Rick Ross albums so no diss....but his commitment to being an entertainer is impressive on some Mike Jackson always On ish)

Yup. This is his regular voice. He's got a lot of blacks fooled.

Kanye, however.....I don't even know what happened to him.

:yeshrug:

it's called not sounding like a dumbass/bad English....Annunciation is the key to success outside of rap. Hip-hop got people sounding like idiots.
Black people in the 1950's did not sound like the Black people today....life ain't a hip-hop track/entertainment.

There is a thin line between accent/bad English.....and a lot of brothas are on the Bad English side of it.

Drake sound like Jay-Z when he doing interviews with Angie on Hot 97. Ain't like Drake sound like Rick Ross rappin, lol.

Jay is probably one of the biggest offenders of having a "Rap voice" if you will. Drake and Jay sound about evenly out of character....but I can still hear some of drake the rapper since his voice ain't weak. Also, T.I. gets honorable mention for not talking like he raps.

Jay-Z when he shows up on Letterman and you hear his real voice....it's like you can't believe that n!gga rap, hahaha.

wtf you talkin bout?

Jay always sounds the same.

Always has the NY accent.

Drakes accent always changes.

its not hte 90's or early 00's so no one will check him. if they do. a gang of internet thugs will do their best to spin it.

just the way the industry works nowadays i guess.

but drake never ever, ever had a hood accent.

even if he was from a toronto hood, he would not have an american one.

hood dudes from canada speak like Kardinal

Speak for Drake.

don't speak for every other rapper

You're an idiot.

Even when Plies has a nursing degree or David Banner has a masters, you c00ns will still be out here talking about who's "real" and who's not.

Ya'll some WWE ass nikkas.

AT THE END OF THE DAY, dudes like Kanye and Drake are MORE TRUE TO THEIR RHYMES than probably any other artists.

He wasnt as bad as Kanye is right now. At least you know Drake came from an acting background so he's comfortable and stuff. This new Kanye accent is terrible as hell. He sounds like he's under mind control or something.

Its strange how he became so popular.

I mean the hip hop swag is low with him.

how is it strange? look at hip hop's fan base nowadays. i attribute Kanye for taking masculinity completely out of the culture, when you nikkas let Kanye beat 50 that first week the reign of the alpha-male became a thing of the past. long live weird clothes, gay mannerisms and white people voices, :win:
