All that “Work” paid off. Rihanna’s latest single earned the top spot on Billboard’s Hot 100, marking the 14th time the Barbados-born singer landed a No. 1 hit. The milestone helped Rihanna pass Michael Jackson to score the third-most Hot 100 No. 1s of all time, Billboardreported Monday. That puts RiRi behind The Beatles and Mariah Carey, who have 20 and 18 chart toppers, respectively.

Rihanna did surpass Carey in another category, though; The 28-year-old scored her 24th top 10 on the Radio Songs chart, beating out Carey’s 23.

Drake — who’s featured on “Work” and its accompanying videos that dropped Monday — scored his second Hot 100 No. 1 thanks to the Anti track. The rapper counts “What’s My Name?,” another Rihanna collaboration, as his first to earn the mark.

The pair extended the record of non-U.S. born acts topping the Hot 100 to 33 weeks, making “Work” the ninth consecutive No. 1 to fall into the category and thus breaking the previous streak from 1985. “Work” debuted at No. 1 after its Jan. 27 release, and Rihanna took to Twitter to thank her fans for supporting the track.

#WORK tops Billboard #Hot100!! Navy you killed it this week! #NavyRDie

Drake didn't add anything to the song IMO
i never say that about him, as he's one of my favorites but he wasn't needed.

Dope track though
