gnx is the album i’ve always wanted from kendrick and that’s why its probably my favorite dot project
And to me it also has alot more substance to it.
And also i can relate to certain sentiments of the lyrics

but the writing nah.

wacced out murals, man at the garden, reincarnated & gloria are some of his best written songs.

reincarnated is a CRAZY fukking track. Its genius with the references and the way he tied multiple tracks together and still made it unique to him.

and ion need to get to deep with gloria. that track speaks for itself

Nah the writing is some of his best. Its just that the album has so many hits that the writing doesnt go unnoticed but it isnt the highlight like his other projects

I'll give you Reincarnated, but that's a concept Game did before on LAX with Never Say Goodbye where he raps in the POV of three different legends living out the day of their death, so its not that original of a concept for a song. Kendrick flips a lot of concepts Game, Nas, etc used before.

Gloria is fake deep tho. And yall sound crazy criticizing Drake and Party's singing voice and then letting this guy's singing / melodic rapping slide.

Songs like Institutionalized and If These Walls Could Talk got the story telling and substance in GNX wiped down.

Her Loss wouldn't even compare to Recovery, which is one of eminem's weakest albums. It's like comparing a kid's drawing to a picasso
