As usual your comprehension is :mjlol: along with all the other warehouse working oldies who lack real friends that know what's really good in hiphop.

Who does one study if they want to be great? Specially if you regularly speak to smart people in music, your uncle was in Sly Stone and the family stone and on. You try to move like the greateat and you get advice on how to do it, which obviously doesn't automatically mean that you make the same music or that you are as great :snoop:. Just cause every young guard wants to be Curry or cp3 or even MJ and Kobe doesn't mean that they are as nice.

You old fukks minds completely lose all its comprehension when you see a legends name in the same paragraph as a current artist .

You need to learn how to gracefully hold an L instead of doubling down on your stupidity.

The sad part is your logic is sound. Then you throw it out the fukking window by using it on Drake.

You do not get to use the "study the greats" angle on someone that lifted a Rappin 4-Tay verse whole sale. I won't even get into all the other shyt. That alone sinks your argument.

As far as the rest of your post....you're an adult male, conduct yourself like one. I guarantee you're closer to my age than the people whose validation you so desperately seek by playing the "he's old" card like a fukking 15 year old.

Right but if the songs were complete shyt like most of the Coli is saying, people wouldn't be vibing to it :yeshrug:

This is an extremely simplified view of how the world works.

If people like Drake :manny: but this rationalization of "it's popular, it has to be good" is the most ridiculous shyt ever. "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" was a hit show for fukks sake....don't talk to me about what the masses like.

:whoo:

So you're old as fukk and acting like this?

:dame:

Something must have gone wrong your life, spending all day perched in Drake threads, writing long winded, overly emotional and un-self-aware essays.

I didn't like Pop Style at first but it grew on me. Some songs are like that. :yeshrug:

Also I'd like to mention that all the songs you keep mentioning weren't even on any of his albums. :heh:

I would argue that you're reply is an even simpler view than what you incorrectly interpreted my point as, but in either case you are incorrect. Honey Boo Boo (using your example) is a hit because it's a train wreck; nobody watches that show because she's an enjoyable young lady. Popularity doesn't mean quality :ld:

My point had nothing to do with just hearing Drake's songs on the radio; the Payola scandal proved the right amount of money will get anything spins. My observations was that the people I saw riding around listening to the tracks seemed to be enjoying the music :manny: while the Coli would have you believe it's hot :trash: and everyone hates it....

And for what it's worth, not only are there several different radio stations you can flip through when a whack song comes on, there are like 10 different ways to listen to music in most modern cars (bluetooth, Satellite radio, etc). Even if "the powers that be" are trying to force songs down your throat from artists they want to push, they can't prevent you from turning to something else :yeshrug:
