He done went #1 every week since he dropped. Something ain’t adding up because if everybody thought the album was trash like folks was saying online then this wouldn’t be happening :jbhmm:

We’ve seen what happens when the public actually don’t like a Drake album because it comes and goes like Honestly,Nevermind did

Dumb comparison. Bad Bunny is a 99.9% Latin act. It’s actually mind-blowing that he’s even doing so well in such a market.

Drake is Drake. He’s Taylor Swift status and been here since 2009. He’s the GOAT rapper commercially speaking.
Eminem has sold significantly more than Drake

They had to include streams because drake was flopping through hard numbers. Haha. They NEVER talk about the thank me later numbers. His whole career even his success like these numbers are a LIE because its based mostly in streams.

Bad Bunny dropped too early IMO, and the launch wasn't great IMO. Other issue is simply that a lot of Hispanic/Rican/etc people aren't using paid streaming services. They're mainly using free Spotify and Youtube. You see that with a lot of Afrobeat music too where foreigners are using free streams too, VS many Americans being more likely to pay and be counted more in sales. A good American comparison would be how NBA Youngboy will have crazy views on Youtube or free Spotify but the album sales aren't amazing outside of nice first week.

UVST sold 300K first week and now’s it nearing 5 million sold with 15 billion streams on Spotify. First week sales aren’t the end all be all. Y’all really don’t know what y’all be talking about :mjlol:

This was his version of a “street” or “mixtape” album anyways. He said it wasn’t for the mainstream audience. It will have legs and continue to stream.

This dude has a 90/10 split and is pacing to become a billionaire. Y’all care about the sales more than he does :mjlol:
