Listen to voice over actors handed scripts.
On how to get on, without having any skills, breh.
So, in other words.
Go to a classically trained school because you are from some affluence.
they will handle being your agent and talent scout for you.
Via canada's actor sag trade agreements in Hollywood.
Show them you can read rap voice over scripts and you are set.
They get all the new Hollywood voice over talent from Canada, now

Drake Says New York Is Irrelevant To Music Industry Success
The Toronto rapper explains how he represents his hometown.

by Victoria Hernandez

Drake was featured in the first installment of Fader's "Obey Your Thirst" documentary series sponsored by Sprite.

In the video, Drake says that artists no longer need to go to New York city to become successful.

"All these guys that are like, 'You gotta go to New York and make it happen,' no you don't, man," he says. "That's dead now. Do it the way The Weeknd did it. Do it the way PARTYNEXTDOOR did it. Do it the way I did it. Do it from where you're at."

The Toronto rapper says that his hometown is one of his main motivations.

"All I did was find a way to make people proud of our city," he says. "The artists from our city, their whole objective was to get out. So I just had to flip that way of thinking."

Drake says that it is important to stand out in the industry by being transparent.

"Rap music has always been about storytelling," he says. "I've never seen the sense in crafting a story that isn't my own. Just rapping is not really that impressive anymore. There just has to be more. You have to be a multi-layered artist. My father was like, 'If you really wanna shock the world, you'll sing and rap.' I was like, 'You're crazy. This is like the worst idea possible.'"

Future "Obey Your Thirst" interviews are slated to feature Nas, Vince Staples and Isaiah Rashad.

Dudes right.

He's not really talking about New York he is talking about America.

People saying what he did ain't unique but tell me when in rap history a Canadian/international rap artist has done what he has done?

I don't like his music but he is right.

Do you have to come to New York to be put on? No. But New York will always be relevant in Hip Hop cause it's a legendary and historic city in the culture. Probably the most in Hip Hop history, so it will always be relevant.

Didn't Drake go down south to get hot, get a bunch of cosigns, then start repping his city heavy years later?

Where was all the 6 nonsense on his first album? Second album?
