The fact that you have to ask this confirms you re a weirdo

you can't see the difference from HUSTLING risking yo life and freedom...from acting on a tv show

it amazes me how foolish some ppl can come across...

:dead: at respecting nikkas for using blood money from selling poison to break into rap but, hate on a kid who did the same thing with legal money :snoop:

Question for all of the real street Coli nikkas :duck:

What's the difference between Jay-Z using drug money to get into rap vs. Drake using TV show money?
That Jay can make the claim that he started from the bottom of society.

Had Drake made 100K pushing pills and powder before rap.....everybody would be :lupe:

He's so real :lupe:

He's really bout that life :lupe:

He was really out there :lupe:

:russ:

nikkas mad cuz Drake was 16 making more money than they do as adults....something a high school kid would have to work very hard to do....and that he was smart enough to funnel that into music. No different than Jay-Z selling drugs and flipping it into music. No different than Slim Thug selling houses and flipping it into music. No different than Ludacris or Master P selling albums out their trunk and reinvesting into music. No different than Diddy hosting parties down Howard, making a shytload of money and getting in with Uptown. Same philosophy. What a bunch of hating ass muthafukkas :snoop:

So was Macauley Culkin, so if he rapped about starting from the bottom would you believe him? Would you believe that a guy who was raised in Toronto's upper class would have "nikkas that would catch a body like that" that were his "Day One nikkas"? I'll leave this thread once 1 suburban nikka actually admit why he likes Drake. You nikkas like him because he's 1 of you, he makes it look cool to be square and not have to come from the streets.

At the end of the day, you're pretty much damned if you don't and damned if you do...

Big Sean started from the bottom and he doesn't exactly get any credit or respect for it so what is this really a discussion about?

If you want a reason to discredit Drake, make your point and stay mad. What are you really gonna do? Protest? Kid single-handedly turned the mixtape game on its head, stayed relevant enough to drop 2 albums and get a Grammy for one. In a genre where your credibility is constantly going to be challenged, dude managed to by-pass the bullshyt, sell records, and become the top young rapper in the game b/c no one could deny his music (try as they may, skill recognizes skill).

Dude has one of the more well-documented evolutions in this genre that we'll see in a while. shyt's impressive.
