If that's the bottom, then everybody started from the bottom. Which makes the saying a bit hollow, wouldn't you say?
Where are you from? I don't know anything about Toronto breh his upbringing doesnt seem that special. that isn't a mansion and the guy was on a tv show plus his dad was a musician.

I'm from a small town in Texas, about an hour outside of Austin. I had a pretty comfortable upbringing, for what it's worth. :ehh:

Now, are there people who had it easier than Drake growing up? Yes. Does that mean he "started from the bottom" aka "came from nothing?" fukk no.

Does it matter in the grand scheme of things? Of course not. :skip:

He didn't do that either. Getting Trey Songz on your first mixtape is not starting from the bottom of the rap game, breh.

:what:

Comeback was not his 1st mixtape

Comeback season came out in 2007 Trey Songz was a no one in 2007 he had not even dropped his second album yet. He was coming off a debut album that only sold 396k.

It's a song though since when did we take everything literal . Drake did come from the bottom of hiphop though and that's what he seems to be talking about . The guy was on a tv show and his family could only afford half a house :manny:

He was on Room for Improvement, too.

Trey wasn't as big as a Ne-Yo, or a Chris Brown at the time, but he was a pretty big name. That "Gotta Go" song and "Girl Tonite" with Twista were huge.
