A lot of people on social media don't like his letter because it sounds disengenuous, generic, safe and PR approved. He said a bunch of shyt in all caps without saying anything.

You woke up afraid TODAY? Really Drake?? Black men have been waking up afraid for their lives for fukking centuries. I'm glad it finally took the Budden saga and many, many, many deaths to wake you up...lets see how long this lasts. You say the first step is dialogue?! Where the fukk have you been Drake? The dialogue's been happening, for a long long time and the problem is policy change and accountability from people in power. These two examples show how disconnected he is from the black community. He knows jack shyt about race relations and police brutality in this country and does not identify or even understand the black experience.

He sounds unintelligent, like a white guy trying to show compassion. Justin Timberlake basically said the same thing (I'm emotional, confused, more dialogue) but I expect it from someone like him, not Drake.

Try again I don't idolize rappers I'm a fan of Drake's music. This whole only white people and suburbanites like Drake shyt is comical the nikka is the most popular rapper among young black Americans making music in black genres but keep chatting and pushing your little corny ass agenda.

The letter does nothing for me, I respect he said something and that's that.

Hes really not breh. Hes this generations
Eminem no more no less....cept Em is 100 times doper.

While I think celebrities speaking out it commendable I do not think it should be required and I don't think it's needed

I can't object to how someone feels they should address injustice or what specific injustice moves them to act
You can object if you think it does more harm than good.

He doesn't need IG likes, the muthafukka could post a picture of a baked potato and do over 100k likes at this point. I give him props for speaking up on this, at least he said something and he does have the voice to reach people. I don't expect this dude to be Chuck D or nothing, but the fact you're trying to fault him for speaking up is some female "I don't like her" shyt.
He don't speak for us breh

How about make a thread about the actual tragedy rather than making a thread defending ur favorite rapper speaking on it? The issue is much more important than some fukkin Drake "hate" or whatever.
this x100

I guarantee OP doesn't give a fukk about what's going, just wants his precious Drake to be accepted.

fukk crying out for attention ass thread

He needs to make a song about it:ufdup: instead of
ktpng.gif
. My second main criticism for this dude is his narrow subject matter which is just about the hoes who've hurt him, a few songs about police brutality and black empowerment will be enough for me to remove the:mjpls: label from him.
not enough to credit him with being a great writer:mjlol: though

Y'all wanted an artist to say something (don't know why), the biggest star in the world did, now that's not good enough :francis:

That's why it's hard to take y'all seriously :francis:
It's one thing to say something, but for his stans to come here and perpetrate like is voice is of the upmost importance to the situation doesn't sit well for me. Bottomline, this thread shouldn't have been made. I don't care about no fukking Drake and who's hating on him. I care about what's going on in the real world. So fukk Drake, fukk the stans in here bytching, and fukk you.

OP probably hasn't said one fukking thing in the Alton Sterlin thread, or the other brother who just got shot.

He's too concern about Drake

Yall need a fukking reality check. I can tell you right now, Drake doesn't give a fukk about neither one of you silly nikkas caping for him, which is fukking irrelevant to the problems we are facing. Matter of fact I can't even say "we" anymore. I question some you nikka's "ethnicity" on here.

Drake said something Instagram, props to him. But this bickering ass thread is making those words feel empty as fukk. You're doing him a disservice. I'm done
