Crazy statistic, though didn’t this come out before GKMC yet it’s spent less weeks?

Anyway, undoubtedly a classic and one of the most influential albums of this era. It’s funny how much I hated the second half of this album first time I heard it thinking
:hhh: Wtf is this simp shyt’ and didn’t listen to it in full for almost a year. I was a huge fan of Thank Me Later so this was a complete shift from that sound and it just didn’t resonate with me at first. It wasn’t until I broke up with my ex :mjcry: in 2012 that I gave it another shot and since then it’s been one of my go-to albums.

At this point, is it safe to say Drake dropped 3 classics in a row (Take Care, NWTS & IYRTITL)?

Take Care has aged incredibly well. Even most Drake detractors consider it his best work :ehh:

GKMC meanwhile was a weed plate after 8 months. NOBODY goes back to that shyt :scust:

It’s a classic imo. Even in Apple Music it’s the only Drake album listed as an essential listen. Crazy how I saw this thread just as I revisited the album.
