From my humble viewpoint. Drake and Kendrick are going to be friends again in no more than 5 years please book it. Nothing they said to each other was way below the belt or over the line like previous rap battles. In fact I can not even remember one vicious dart outside he likes young girls. K Dot can apologize for that. So the case is not about Kendrick but UMG(corporation).

They have been inflating streams to help push certain artist.
They have been increasing visibility in certain artist.
They have a rigged platform to help move forward what they choose and not what is authentically popular.
They have an in-house system that is against trade legislation

If guilty it is not only UMG that will be hit, but other labels and corporations who keep the above concealed. USA is lawsuit land and many artist will check dates, check figures and start investigating the outcomes of what was and what should have been. Domino effect lawsuits are coming! Which is only great for hiphop music as you wont see all over your streaming platforms and recommended sexxy redd, pinkpanthress,etc,etc.

The cream will rise to the top and skills and great music can be heard not who has the biggest bag and hook-up. Drake is taking a shot at Goliath and if he succeeds it'll be the return of some standards and fair competition. ie. variety and alternatives greater choices and greatest artist getting pushed naturally not this abnormal sh1t the Industry has been on for so long now.

I consider it a Boss Move a sacrificial display and K Dot pockets aren't getting touched and K Dot won the battle. No harm no foul and no one should really be all that aggy at Drake other than the previous nonsense he was on he tends to be petulant. This actual UMG Case is monumental if victorious though and could be a great unraveling.

In hindsight I think we will praise and respect this move.

If that's your opinion cool but why do you think the lawsuit which does not effect K Dot who was the winner of the battle. The lawsuit is for the corporation which is the real entity handing the culture Ls. How can that systematic construction being broken so publicly be a bad thing for the hiphop community?
