Had a real :ohhh:Moment of clarity this weekend..

Been doing rolling loud since the first one that most dont even know about in wynwood. They had some crazy lineups thru the years and did the hiphop festival thing big.. Saw the lineup this year and was like who?! And they moved it from Miami to Orlando :heh:

Next thing you know I go to the Jazz in the garden festival and its usually a older head eventand I support because its a good time, no issues and its for us by us :mjpls:.. Chill catch a vibe, but this year lineup was like oh snap Mya :gladbron:, Jhene aiko headlining one night and Ludacris the next :ehh:..

Then I thought about it and I just aged out of Rolling Loud Demographics and into :flabbynsick: Jazz in the Gardens..

Ludacris shut that shyt down last night tho, Bought EVERYONE out.. Good Times man.. I cant wait for the Kendrick/Drake Jazz in the Garden co headline :flabbynsick:

I’ll always love hip hop but I can’t see a new rapper coming up that would give me the same feeling Kendrick, Cole and So Far Gone-pre ghostwriting fraudulent era Drake gave me. Probably because i’m in the same age group as them and even the elder statesmen like Nas, Ghost, Raekwon, Common, Lupe Fiasco, De La Soul and Black Thought are still putting out excellent projects i’m not looking for a new MC to come “restore” any feeling i’m missing because i’m not missing anything.

The last “new” rapper I really fukked with is JID and he’s damn near 36.

Let's keep is 100

The reason why these guys are still on top is because the new cats aren't all that talent wise. In 1996, some guys in their 40s won't be running rap
No true. for Starters it would been damn near impossible to be a rapper at 40 in 1996. Being the culture was so young.
