It's way too soon for a final judgement. I always take at least a week and live with an album.

And Drake doesn't need traditional singles anymore. So there's no way that's how he formulated this album. He just has the same struggle every album trying to balance between R&B & Rap. And there's a bigger PND influence on this. No coincidence there...

It's a bigger issue coming of his most rap album ever, where he seemed like he was floating on every song, in that God Mode, like Jay in 99-2000.

Sidenote: I can never listen to the first verse of Child's Play again. Another one of those overly specific, cringeworthy verses...


1 million tweets for an APPLE exclusive, 1 hour sit down Drake interview and album release? No way. If it isn't still trending, then that was manufactured marketing and the hype died down once people listened to the album. No fanbase delays the championship parade. If it was instant fire, they'd be tweeting up a storm right now...

The hype didn't die down at all people are going nuts.

album has no cohesion at all. this is what happens when you have 20 writers. shyt sounds like a compilation album. even kanye with all his writers knows how to make his album flow and tell a story. it's because he's an actual artist with creativity and vision, whereas drake is just a corporate ventriloquist dummy for other artists.
