Alright final verdict, this album is like a 3.25-3.5 off first listen.

The production on here was fantastic but on certain tracks I felt like dude was going through the motions. Whether it was when he was singing or rapping.

In other words there are tons of filler in this motherfukker.

Should of cut this shyt down to like 14 tracks or some shyt. Also, he could of included more of that Caribbean vibe on the record.

Best tracks are Weston Road Flows, Views, 9, Redemption, Controlla, One Dance, Too Good

Honorable mention goes to Future on his Grammy verse

This reminds me how people hated Take Care when it came out...and we all know how that ended.

This shyts on Nothing Was The Same infinitely.

NWTS is much better than this, and as a whole it's underrated

Brehs I don't know about Drake actually rapping though , most of his rapping songs were always to me.
Pound Cake is my favorite and Weston Rd Flows sounds similar, so that is why I like it. "Views" is alright too, but other rap songs on this shyt is in my ears.

This shyt is on another level. DMX just brings so much to the song, it cant be touch.

Drake should just erase his version from history.

"Hotline Bling" is a top 5 beat on this. Just comparing it to the other tracks.

"Views" is nice. 4/5.

Overall maybe a 6/10 but I don't like slow R&B Drake as much as y'all. Drake is the same dude who was on masterful music like "Aston Martin Music" and "I'm On One" if I wanna hear dude I'll go back and listen to those.

There's nothing on here approaching those levels of music. Not to me.

People initially hated Take Care. They hated how emotional, slow, and moody it was.






and then we saw what happened when people sat with it, made memories to it, and let it marinate...




This is as good as, if not better than Take Care.





This is DEFINITELY better than Nothing Was The Same.





Same way nikkas hated 808s and Heartbreak. Or Yeezus. Or fukking Graduation.

This is BETTER than Take Care.

Watch.

This is evolved, mature, and more cohesive. It's WAY more self aware of what it wants to be.

This is easily among his best albums.
