After a second listen, I have to say that Weston Road Flows might be one of my favorite Drake songs.
He also catered to your age group.....the soft ass males of today....you just said it yourself dumbass. the epitome of his music.![]()
How is it possible it dropped last night and it isn't trending on Twitter? That's a bad sign for him. IYRTITL trended for the entire weekend it dropped.
My opinion on it could change, but off first impression, this is WAY far left on the Singing vs. Rapping scale for Drake. This might be the most R&Bish/singing album he's dropped. Not good.
And it just makes me think he avoided going heavy on rap because of the ghostwriting thing....

It's way too soon for a final judgement. I always take at least a week and live with an album.I think this album was shooting for more singles whole his previous albums had moresongs not meant to be singles. I can see him trying to make 70% of this album a single based on fan response.
Comparing this to NWTS, i think NWTS had more songs that stuck with me on first listen. This album has more songs thus there are more songs that DIDNT stick with me. Im going to give this album another run in the gym and then next week on a flight before i give my final judgement.
1 million tweets for an APPLE exclusive, 1 hour sit down Drake interview and album release? No way. If it isn't still trending, then that was manufactured marketing and the hype died down once people listened to the album. No fanbase delays the championship parade. If it was instant fire, they'd be tweeting up a storm right now...1.01M tweets about Views breh![]()

And Drake doesn't need traditional singles anymore. So there's no way that's how he formulated this album. He just has the same struggle every album trying to balance between R&B & Rap. And there's a bigger PND influence on this. No coincidence there...
It's a bigger issue coming of his most rap album ever, where he seemed like he was floating on every song, in that God Mode, like Jay in 99-2000.
Sidenote: I can never listen to the first verse of Child's Play again. Another one of those overly specific, cringeworthy verses...

She had at least 4 or 5 trending topics related to the movie/album the next full day.Lot of people still talking about beyonce
I get that people are tweeting about it. But it's not trending at all, and every other Drake related album/song trends and for a lot longer than this did. Whether its a lot or a little right now, it's less than before. That means something, especially when his last album was a surprise release, with no 1 hour interview and no Apple Music platform to push it, and it had the album and song titles trending for the entire weekend...Breh the tweets are coming almost every few seconds on Twitterif you go to the live tweets feature on Twitter
