"Industry predictions compiled by Hits Daily Double suggest Drake’s hotly anticipated sixth full-length album, “Views,” which came out Friday, could wind up moving up to four times as many units as “Lemonade” over the next week, giving Drake the top spot and his own sixth consecutive No. 1 album."

Beyonce did 550k first week

If Drake does anything from platinum to double platinum FIRST WEEK, it just goes to show Coli posters are biased and are not in tune with the pulse of the culture

i been fukkin with his music for the longest and I'm not digging this. It's like this should have been the mixtape and IYRTITL was the album. He experimented with lots of lighter, dancehall songs, tons of rnb. Not rap heavy at all. Hopefully this shyt is more for the international/mainstream market and he'll keep it rap on the street albums and throwaways

this don't sound nothing like his other projects, nwts was the only sound similar. im not a fan of RnB drizzy like that and he wasn't making the most of his verses. Surprisingly I wasn't feeling the production on this jawn like that either

I got hype when the bass dropped on future part on grammy tho :dj2:

I'm only 2.5 listens deep and I don't feel like more, the shyt was a chore with all the dancehall tracks. Never felt that on a drake project. I'm bout to go bump luv is rage

There's a LOT of average shyt on here. Like I said I liked 8, there's another 6 or 7 that were just good enough to not have to skip, and the rest were skips about a minute in. That PND track was in the middle.
I mean, people are entitled to their opinion but I don't see why people are saying this is on par with take care, in terms of it being laid back, sombre and sorta cohesive yeah but the overall quality? No way

It's not a classic "rap album" but it's a classic album

Not sure if everyone catches my drift but it was the quintessential album for 2011-12
Yeah ok I get what your saying,
i love that album, but like 80-85% of it which is why I personally wouldn't call it a classic, that album had practice, we'll be fine, make me proud and HYFR which were all average/wack or completely unneeded to me.

Now if instead of those tracks we just had club paradise and free spirit then yeah I think drake would have an undeniable classic.

There is a major undertone of disappointment with this album and rightfully so. It's longer than it should be, it's not cohesive and flat out didn't live up to the hype. His pen isn't sharp here which leaves you to believe he passed on a lot of the help that he would normally get.

A lot of comments of "it growinging on..." tells a story.

How does one claim this to be Drake's best work??....I've heard all of his releases....this is not his best work at all....are you younger nikkaz just hyping this up?...
Definitely hype..this isnt touching Take Care or NWTS. Way better than TML which wasnt hard to beat anyway.
