Drake Coli coalition falling apart?

When was I ever "Drake coalition". Cats on the coli think that just cause you don't hate on rappers you're a dikkrider, shyts completely opposite. Or cause I didn't jump on any random loser like Moe G's dikk pause. I still rank him #2 of his generation, just like I rank Cole high but all his 3 official albums are on the same level as Views. I criticized both WATTBA and If you're reading this..

I'm a huge fan of Drake the rapper, not the southern rapper the Canadian Drake. Not so much of Drake the pop star, but usually he limits those tracks and only includes the best ones (I assume). But as far as albums goes of his generation, Chance, Vince Staples Future and Kendrick dropped albums last year that are a lot better than this, on a completely different level even.




I've only played it once though, it was my initial reaction so I might call it a classic tomorrow .

most of the "writers" credited on this are the producers and sampled artists like MJB on Weston Road Flows

album doesn't even have Hush ghostwriting every Drake album does except this one

Just imagine that Illmatic with 10 songs had 37 samples, just about all of them from groups. If the songs had on average 3 writers, that would equal over a 100 writers just in samples.

Listened a bit more. The songwriting is really weak on this album. Say what you will about it as a song, but for instance Hold On We're Going Home is a well written song that works. Outside of the dancehall tracks the singing just doesn't hit here.

Theres a lot of struggle punchlines on this album especially on weston roads flow, I feel like meek was the sacrificial lamb and died for the greater good got drizzy feeling insecure about having writers so he decided to write himself on this album and the outcome wasnt good

The singing songs are really my favorite songs honestly, feel no ways redemption
