The best part of the whole thing is he running the whole “he’s a nice guy, good kid” shyt, with no self awareness of him being that dude that no one really takes seriously as a stand alone, straight up emcee. He is projecting, because everyone thinks he is the “nice kid, good dude” without a top tier emcee bar in his whole persona. He is so fukking corn, and though I think Kendrick is overrated, the love and respect he gets across the board is something that makes Drake 10 times as mad as any posturing or slick bars from rappers that just want to have a little fun and set a competitive tone amongst thier peers, because no matter how many folks Drake enlists to help him make his music, write bars, etc..you can’t buy real respect and adoration.
