Drake clearly has the upperhand right now, but starting a few weeks from now,

after all the hype has gone down,

and after the smoke clears, you are left with one thing :

One of the top rappers in the game has been exposed for not writing his own rhymes.

Drake has become the Pete Rose of Hip Hop.

From now on, there's always that uncertainty revolving around Drake.

There will always be that "asterisk" surrounding Drake.

When his next album drops, people might have a tough time digesting it (I still think he'll be successfull)

because they know that its not truly coming from his spirit, but from a undisclosed person.

On the other hand you could also argue that Meek Mill also lost in the long run

because he possibly alienated himself from his peers because it seems like

using "reference" tracks and lyrics from other people are a common thing...

I think thats kind of unlikely though

true, but the public doesnt care and he sustained a level of respect because he kept the shyt on wax and came with hip hop instead of social media rants.

I listen to everything like "did he write this though ?" How long has he had a writer. Reason why I don't really care for Kanye music anymore because he has writers, same thing with Lil Wayne - the difference with Drake is that they leaked referenced tracks.

this is so premature.. Y'all so in a rush to claim the OUTCOME..

Let the shyt settle for a minute got damn...

Im glad Drake got exposed. sorry, but I am

Im glad Meek got humbled.. sorry, but I am

But, can y'all nyggas ever show patience in ANYTHING?

Nyggas now make everything hip hop related so disposable. Let it fukkin marinate for once

yeah, the general public definitely doesn't care....and they probably will forget about it too....

I'm talking about those of us who are on messageboards, hip hop websites top 10 lists, MTV 10 hottest rappers list, etc...

whenever somebody will bring up drake, there will always be somebody who will bring up that argument about him not writing his own rhymes

thats kind of sad for Drake too cause he's a dope artist
