only people in the industry and people on hip hop forums are seeing the bigger picture. his diehard fans, fans who go to his shows, buy his singles on iTunes, those people have no clue what has occurred and don't care. they just want music.

this is so premature.. Y'all so in a rush to claim the OUTCOME..

Let the shyt settle for a minute got damn...

Im glad Drake got exposed. sorry, but I am

Im glad Meek got humbled.. sorry, but I am

But, can y'all nyggas ever show patience in ANYTHING?

Nyggas now make everything hip hop related so disposable. Let it fukkin marinate for once

Society isn't built for patience no more man. We need answers/results now because a few weeks from we'll all be focused on the next shyt

I think it'll be the opposite. Drakes next project will have bangers on it, and that's all people will care about.

Meek didn't win nothing....

Drake won the little rap battle

But I feel like they both lost in the long run

Meek was supposed to represent the streets and that battling mentality but he let the streets down, handled this whole shyt badly. I felt like he got pressured into putting out a subpar song and now he has been humbled by a crafty cornball

Drake will forever be questioned in my eyes, he'll still get his money and sell records. But I don't he'll really get the respect I think he would want down the road....

But I refuse to believe it's over though. Meek took those initial Ls and even though I don't think he's that talented I can't imagine he gonna just go out like this..

It's pretty clear that Meek gonna be ostracized but I been saying for the longest that after the dust settles, the salient thing hip hop fans will remember about this battle is that Drake don't write his sh!t.

man look, seeing this...this was a shot of adrenaline for hip hop. Ive been disinterested for a minute. I dont even fukk with Drake like that, but he did this shyt.

nobody gone give a fukk bout Drake supposedly not writing, not on a major scale anyway.

Wayne was hit with these allegations, the masses dont give a shyt.

Nas got hit with these allegations, swept under the rug like fukk.

Kanye....nobody gives a shyt

nikkas thought Ricky getting exposed was gone be a death blow and he got bigger.

Nobody gives a shyt if you keep dropping jams. And Drake gone keep dropping jams for the foreseeable future. Views gone do Arod numbers.

I'm just enjoying the show. Im old enough to have seen the curtain pulled back on hip hop one too many times. Alot of my flabby counterparts letting nostalgia cloud the truth about what hip hop was and is. Same shyt thats goin on now been happening from jump. Act like Vanilla Ice and Hammer aint drop and prosper in the so called "golden era".

nikkas calling Ice Cube out for being PC about ghostwriters ...this nikka promoting a movie about a group that he wrote damn near all the lyrics for. He on the ghostwriting rushmore..this shyt aint new.

I give up with all the rules and whatnot. Just make something dope. That other shyt:camby:

Im absolutely in the "you cant claim King and dont write your shyt" camp...but you know what?...Drake aint in nowhere near my personal top 10, nor will he be. But if he drop something that jam, ima jam it with not a fukk given:manny:

Aint gone stop me from supporting shyt I authentically respect.

yeah, I think that's really the only tangible, salvageable thing that will be left over after the hype has gone down

yeah, the general public definitely doesn't care....and they probably will forget about it too....

I'm talking about those of us who are on messageboards, hip hop websites top 10 lists, MTV 10 hottest rappers list, etc...

whenever somebody will bring up drake, there will always be somebody who will bring up that argument about him not writing his own rhymes

thats kind of sad for Drake too cause he's a dope artist

Those people don't matter, never matter and don't make or break artist

All Yall do is complain and object

You don't buy albums, singles or go to shows

fukk a message board, hiphop website and people who make list
