all these people saying Drake shouldve paid homage, exactly where when people talked about this song did it say Drake was on some homage shiit?

If he wasn't gonna pay homage, why name it that? Nobody anywhere on planet Earth was like "you know what the game's missing? a Drake song called Wu-Tang Forever!".

Who is this song for, exactly? His core fan base probably don't give a fukk about (or never heard of) Wu. Wu's core fan base don't fukk with Drake. It would be like if Wu-Tang made a gritty ass quintessential Wu record and called it "Drake". For what? What purpose would that serve?

Ruined it on the unreleased Aaliyah Record. Ruined "Back that Azz Up" with "Practice". Now Disgraces Wu by naming a song after their Classic album and not even try to pay homage right. Why would Wu be proud of this? This was a nice chance for Drake to silence all his naysayers about his rhyming ability. It was a chance to do something to remind the new generation of how great Wu Tang was so they can go back and listen to the Classics. Instead another typical song. Imagine Jay or NaS doing a song called "Wu Tang Forever". You know damn well they would of payed homage right. J Cole "Born Sinner" album payed homage to the 90's the best to me.

He could have a while back, but Chris Brown throws Moet bottles like a girl.....

The track itself is cool to me, but WTF with the name?

:what:

He could've just used a Wu instrumental if that's the case. Nobody in their right mind would listen to this and think "yeah son....name it Wu-Tang Forever".

And who is "yall"? I haven't even commented on the song title, other than to say it makes no sense. And it doesn't. It's more like people want people to be mad so they have something to get defensive about.

Name a song after another rap group's album, then get upset when that fan base asks why. That could've been easily circumvented by....hmmm....I dunno, not naming it what he did? It's not as if Wu-Tang's fan base requested a shout out from Drake.
