chart success can be an indicator of how important an album is. There's a reason why Take Care is the one that's still super high on the charts 15 years later and not his other stuff (though his other stuff does well too). I'm not talking about it going #1 or selling a ton. Again, leave personal preferences aside. I don't DQ All Eyez On Me because Whatz Your Phone # is objectively garbage. I call a spade and spade and call it what it is even if it doesn't hit me the same way.
This is a list of the ten longest charting albums ever, and I'm removing greatest hits stuff off this list
Pink Floyd- Dark Side of the Moon
Metallica- Metallica
Bruno Mars- Doo-Wops & Hooligans
Nirvana- Nevermind
Michael Jackson- Thriller
Kendrick Lamar- GKMC
AC/DC- Back in Black
Fleetwood Mac- Rumours
Adele- 21
Lana Del Rey- Born To Die
you can't tell the full story of music in the 2010s without mentioning Take Care
As for So Far Gone, it's definitely a classic mixtape.
