There's a reason why Take Care is the one that's still super high on the charts 15 years later and not his other stuff (though his other stuff does well too). I'm not talking about it going #1 or selling a ton. Again, leave personal preferences aside. I don't DQ All Eyez On Me because Whatz Your Phone # is objectively garbage. I call a spade and spade and call it what it is even if it doesn't hit me the same way.

This numbers can go up though.

Weeknd has never done huge numbers out the gate and he always has a fall off. His best selling album sold 348k first week and was at 90k by the third week. Plus he's always had bundles boost his first week numbers, 209k of that first week were bundles.


Weeknd's music usually has long legs, but he's never done Drake numbers out the gate.
