Nah. Non hispanic whites are roughly 62% of the country. That whole "77% of the country is white" lie is including the hispanic ethnicity since the census counts their race as "white." If black people are about 13% and one-tenth of 62% is 6.2%, then one-tenth of pig skins is not even half of all black people.

Also, if white boys are majority of rap fans, then why do white rappers always flop? Remember when white boys made action bronson out to be their next eminem? 38k physical copies first week. In fact, they seem to hype every white rapper and then they flop.
Why do you think that rap fans would in general be so racist to cop music based on rappers skin color?
Pop fans with Eminem and people like Macklemore yes, but not the general rap fans. A bland rapper like Machine gun Kelly would not move a single unit if he was white. I've been to Wu-tang concerts in NY where it was like 70% white. I don't even wanna know what happens in less diverse cities.

77, 62, same shyt they vastly outnumber us is the point, a majority is more than half so in any event it wouldn't make your comment any more valid.
Because latin americans and yellow people buy rap music as well.

I think certain rappers that are outrageously hood like Jeezy and Gucci might have a hardcore fan base that's nearly fully black.
But if we look at the world and look at who listens to their music and buys their music, I think that # will be adjusted on the downside.
I did a quick twitter search for "gucci mane", and from the first few tweets it was like 50/50.

To ignore the fact that they over-hype their own rappers, no matter how bad they are is pretty ridiculous. Let's be honest, every white boy pretty much believes eminem is the best even tho he's been trash for about 10 years now. The MGK comment makes no sense. Hell, Ghost Face Killah was never a big name rapper, yet when a white boy stole his entire flow, whites acted like he was next rap star. Whites even hyped Iggy up. At one point, her hype was so big that Nicki started getting insecure and sent a sneak diss on stage. Believe it or not, whites will promote their own over anyone else no matter how bad they are even if they're copying a black person.

That tired out statement about going to concerts doesn't make anything any more valid, yet people continue to use it. I've never had an interest in going to concerts, yet I still buy albums. How can 77% and 62% be the same? lol.

And basing your argument on SEARCH ENGINES??? If you type in "dreads" into google images, nearly all of the images are white boys. Using that logic, most of the dreadlock group are white boys as well.

Views from the Six (as written by Quentin Miller) will sell a lot of copies, but Drake will never be considered a rapper again. I think the term pop star fits our guy Drake well :mjpls:.

Well one has to base their argument on something, I base mine of what record industry execs say, what I see at concerts and the internet presence of the rap fans. You? Nothing. I'm gathering evidence to support my claims, the combined evidence is what I'm talking about, not just one sole factor.

Kendrick Lamar in Tennessee at Bonnaroo (note the cac:ish "ma nigguh")

:mjlol:

And 77 and 62 is the same thing, if the point was just to illustrate that they are a lot more 5 times more or 6 times more, I'm not trying to point estimate anything. And yes, labels and stuff promote a lot of white artists, that's true.. But that doesn't mean that the hiphop fans will respond to it, and mostly with people like Iggy they are going for pop fans, small girls and stuff.
Labels try to maximise profits, they don't care about who you are, what you do to communities, how you look or anything. MGK is on Bad Boy, Iggy Azelia was first pushed by T.I., that other white boy is signed to Eminem, Macklemore is indie and Action is the only one who was signed to a white person not named Eminem directly in recent memory.

In Actions case we can compare him to another NY rapper who also makes "old school inspired music", Joey Badass. Who is on the same level if not bigger, independently. Google his shows and you'll see more white people than a Action Bronson show.

His next album will mark his last stand of pop music. Kinda like Ja Rule "The Last Temptation"

remember what happened when tunechi was being unfairly hated on by cacs because gillie the kid was helping him come up with concepts and ideas for his tracks??

next 3 albums went # 1, and c3 and c4 pushed over 1 milion first week....and he became a MEGA STAR

champagne papi is already a MEGA STAR with an upward trujectery ...he may be the first rapper in the non-record sales age to push a million first week :banderas:
