It's more critical thinking and less math which is why it was worded that way. once figured out they simply add/subtract 10 (million, tens thousands, etc) in it's specified place value.

If u read the question wrong by thinking its a multiple choice u will be confused but if u actually pay attention to what u read its simple as fukk this is a 3rd grade question.
