I know you want to keep talking this into existence, but it’s not even remotely true. Jimmy has been an integral part in the running of their offense, the only issue is, he’s a lot older now and he likes pacing himself during the regular season.

As much as you want Kuminga to be given the keys, he’s not built for that. He’s a role player and that’s alright. Not everyone can be a star.

These last few games without Steph, where he was given plenty of touches but didn’t do shyt with them should tell you who he is.

I think the offense doesn’t really work long term for anyone but Steph and draymond at this point. A younger Jimmy, yes, would be ideal. He’s a rare archetype. Kuminga, even as a role guy, ain’t really cutting with the crew. He’s gotta be traded.

90+% of role players that have played for GS over the last decade have played career-best hoops, so it clearly does work.

The offense is made to make it easier for everyone to get involved and get easy scoring opportunities. The alternative to that is running ISO and if you aren’t a KD-level player, the team will be drowning in the waters of the lottery.

But at the end of the day, it’s only so much a system can do, you still need good players otherwise you’re just putting lipstick on a pig. Look at all the talent they’ve drafted that ended up getting traded or released - they’ve all been passed around and the large majority of them ended up quickly fading out of the league.

They’ve had arguably the worst big man rotation for years now.

Everyone swore Wiseman was going to be the next big thing, but he got passed around from team-to-team because he ain’t shyt. To now where he’s out of the league. Poole was their most promising prospect, and the Wizards didn’t even want him and now he’s coming off the bench in the N.O.

Nah those days where you could win a championship or at least make some serious noise in the playoffs with old core are gone.

Last time I remember was circa 2011 when Mavs won a championship with old roster, or the KG/Pierce/Ray Celtics who had many old players but still managed to go far.

Not getting rid of Dray showed that they're not committed to winning.

"Agendas?" This is the same selfish dude with a history of throwing temper tantrums during games, drawing Ts , and costing his team chances to win games.
Is this the same dude that helped them win 4 titles?

:unimpressed:

Dray is a great player for that team even with his imperfections.

His 2020 Olympic run made change my mind about him. Dude is defensive glue

The big man rotation is a real problem that they haven’t really taken serious for some reason. Looks like mark williams was very available seeing how easily my suns got him. I think there is a happy medium between what GS does and iso ball. I don’t think Kerr is open to or knows how to find that.
