This.

And Draymond is also incorrect about the ease in which they score. KD gets buckets way easier than Kyrie. Kyrie because of his size naturally has to work a little harder to create the space he needs. KD is giving you 2-3 dribbles max and pulling up for a jumper you can't contest, or if you're too close he's taking you to the rack.
Right, but everything you said is what makes Kyrie the better scorer imo. He doesn’t have the luxury of shooting over dudes like KD does. And he might be a second option, but how many 2nd options in the NBA are getting doubled & triple teamed like Kyrie does, not too many.

He’s not. Kyrie doesn’t have elite scoring averages because he doesn’t get to the line a lot. That’s a part of scoring ability.

Steph doesn’t either, but he makes more threes.

Difficulty is literally the antithesis of efficiency. A majority of the greatest scorers have an ability to consistently get easy points for one reason or another, so they can fall back on the difficult baskets. You can’t rely on those for a whole career.

That “luxury” is literally why KD is the better scorer, because Kyrie has to be the more varied scorer to almost be as effective

Will this nikka ever shut the fukk up? Draymond wants to be a star so bad, but people don't love him like that.

Two different scorers where one can use his height and wingspan on missmatches while the other one can't. Plus different positions, plus one of them has multiple scoring titles

He's still mad KD turned him into 4th option on offense, at best.
Which basically was the start of his decline.

Fair

But isn’t that WHY Kyrie should be viewed as the better scorer?

Yes KD has the accolades and the stats to back of the claim as one of the greatest scorers in NBA history, but Kyrie’s array of floaters, teardrops, push shots, off balanced shots is more pleasing to the eye than the way KD gets buckets and that’s what makes him the better scorer to me, purely off eye test.

That’s aesthetics, which I absolutely love, but we gotta stop conflating aesthetics and effectiveness imo. Greatness is effective. It can be aesthetically pleasing as well, but it has to be effective bare minimum. For me, the most effective scorer is the one who gets the most buckets, and bonus points go to how they get said buckets. KD gets more buckets, but Kyrie does it in a more fun to watch way, depending on what you look for in a scorer. The accolades and stats are what I go off of, and the eye test is secondary (but still necessary to validate)

Well said breh. And that same logic applies to LeBron being “the better scorer” than Kobe but that neither here nor there :sas2:

The irony considering Draymond’s inflated self worth comes from KD saving them

Also I hope yall realize the entire nasty state of dismissive hoops discourse comes from Kobe fans. Yall dismissed pure greatness with Lebron in order to prop up Kobe. So now that’s all you see whether it be Jordan, KD, Gianni’s, etc. No one is impressed, no one is serious anymore it’s all ‘getback’. KD ain’t the scorer we think he is, Wilt didn’t score 100, MJ couldn’t go left :unimpressed: A complete shytshow
:what:
