thats a fair opinion. However you also have to acknowledge that in most scientific fields there are differing opinions on various subjects and history has shown that at times minority opinions are proven correct. So we can choose to follow the majority opinion by the experts. But its not an infallible position. And id argue that its presumptuous to assume that theyre claiming their opinion holds equal weight, its simply about what you are or arent comfortable with. There are tons of things experts say are bad for us yet we continue to choose to do. I simply choose to not judge people for their choices
