Draymond's peak is a 10/7/7 guy.

He's like a less talented Lamar ODOM.

He averaged 14/9.5/7.4/1.5/1.4 last season with arguably the best defense in the league

The problem w this statement is that dude's doing it with a system that's successful as hell defensively overall. Of course he makes them substantially better when he's on the court. But AB is outchea playing clamp ball w maybe Marcus Smart as the only defender on roster I know of that's really on his same world. That's brownie points imo

I don't have the statistics to say otherwise, but if we're referencing last year, they had some pretty solid defensive lineups without Draymond in. Obv they weren't elite, but I still imagine they were A COMPLETE fukkTON better than lineups without Avery in the game up. Like that roster last year would still have been top 10 defensively if they had time to adjust rotations & find at least an average replacement for Draymond for a full season.

The Warriors last season had a 112 DRTG without Dray compared to 100 (which was an elite number) with him on. Now DRTG isn't the end-all of defense, but it gives a good indication on how they performed without him on the court, which wasn't that great.
