Is this really true though? Almost positive Russell never got down like that but I could be wrong. Magic was Mr. "NBA is Fantastic" Ambassador. I don't recall ever hearing Jordan or Kobe shyt on the next generation. I've heard critiques but never downright shytting. Kobe and Bron's generations overlapped just like Bron and Steph's and Bron is known for being receptive to younger cats. Kobe was out here working with young dudes.

Russell, Kareem, Jordan, Kobe, and Bron (as of yet) have never really hated on the younger guys like that.

That's mainly because they're secure in their status as GOATS. The guys who felt undervalued like Barkley, Shaq, Wilt, Paul Pierce, etc. were the haters.

It's a family friendly product for casuals right now, made to maximize profit. Draymond is 9 years in as a nba player, if Lebron or CP3 said this I would have no problem with this due to them being in the league since 2003 and 2005 and has seen the NBA go through many phases.
