But you're trying to equalize two situations that weren't the same and you know it. KG spent 12 years in Minnesota and didn't leave until he was in his 30s. If that wasn't sticking it out I don't know what is. Same with Ray, he had been in Seattle/Milwaukee for 11 seasons and was in his 30s when he got traded.

Maybe he would've left, maybe he wouldn't have, we don't know because he never made that choice. So the fact remains, he never did what KD did.

Minnesota finished using him after wasting his career and was happy that he left to go win some rings. He even said if he knew how things would play out, he would have left sooner. So that loyalty or "sticking out" angle doesn't work well here.

Those words came out of KG's mouth himself. He said he would've left if he knew how things played out. He REGRETTED staying and wasting his career.
