Yeah she should get more.......overseas where they actually can get moreI worked in Columbia when A’ja was there. She’s too young for me to be allover but I think she’s a pretty young lady. I felt some kinda was cause she towers over me and I’m six feet tall lol. Anyway, if a dude had Aja’s credentials, he might be considered goat status already! She could’ve went to UConn but chose to stay home and play for Dawn. I was at the signing. She brought the school championships and went on to win their first title. She’s the leading women’s basketball scorer in Gamecocks history.. Shre went on to be drafted number 1, was rookie of the year, and just won the league mvp last season! Im not going to say they should get Lebron money, but they should definitely get more. The male version of A’ja would be all over tv and everywhere smh
Women’s volleyball though![]()
imagine telling a 9-5 person working 40-50 hours a week for $15 a hour that you "only" made $226k this year from playing basketball
ironically the 9-5 person probably brought more value to their company than Sue Bird
But that would mean blaming women for their low ratings/revenueShe was visible..getting females to watch may be the issue.

The WNBA doesn't draw enough viewers(advertising money) to warrant the players getting paid the big bucks. It has nothing to do with gender. Serena Williams is one of the highest paid female athletes because she brings viewers (male and female) so she'll get the money and endorsements.
I guarantee anyone complaining about the lack of pay of WNBA players can't name more than 5 players, can't name 5 WNBA teams, can't name the last 2-3 WNBA championship teams, and has probably never watched a full game in years if ever.![]()

The issue is that the WNBA doesn't do a very good job in making people give af about their product.
Tbh, the women's college game is better to watch than the pros. WCBB over the years have had great squads at UConn, Baylor, LT, Tenn, Stanford, ND, SC, MSU, etc. but when they get to the pros they tend to be forgotten. The coaches are even more well known at the college level.
The Houston Comets gave the WNBA the blueprint.
But which of the two is bringing in more money To the league via sponsorships/viewers/entertainment ? Lebron is a household name while I’ve never heard of sue bird

I'm always for equal pay but this shyt don't make no sense.
