Dreadlocks

fukk it, here are my freeforms. Use zero product other than aloe Vera when I first started. I'm kind of mad because they look more manicured then id like but I have a few THICK locs in there that connected and it gives some variety.
This is almost 3 years from the time my hair was short and I started growing a fro. I can't wait until they reach my shoulders.
Ofcourse the first 8 months to a year I looked like trash, but got away with the hipster nap look. Then about 1 year and 7 months after initial twists the baby dreads came in but they were inconsistent on my head. I did a lot of extractions during this time, the weak dreads were extracted and I made room for the stronger binded ones to really grow
Then comes 2.5 years, they started to drop and Have been ever since.
As time goes by the compliments grow exponentially. I love that no ones hair is like mine. This is why free form is God.

It looks cool tho, but it's not looking real free form, maybe because you twisted it before. I plan twist mine too its been 1.5 years, can i still do it?

I do like twice a year. My shyts almost 8 years in. Stuntin', dumb drape.
Why would i trim them? lol
ive had to start over completely twice though due to accidents

man my hair is curly as hell. i still have twist and this shyt looks mad ugly. how long will this take 2 lock. i dont want no skinny dreads, i also dont wan't gunplay(freeform) shyts either.

I had locs since I was 6 in '98. I got them because my mom had long locs and I wanted some too instead of going to the salon to get braids.

Freeform Locs. The true locs IMO
I hate when like locs are too neat and pretty with perfect grid line parts. I feel like it takes away from the style. Especially these faux lol extensions that are trending now, nobody's locs look like that.
