You mean traded up for Lavine? McDermott and Lavine got picked before our picks (we took Nurkic and Gary Harris). I would’ve been cool with keeping them. I did not want McDermott at all. Lavine is who I wanted the Bulls to pick, but he was gone. We also could’ve drafted Jokic :lolbron:
We had the agreement to move up to 11 to take Doug. Zach was picked 13.

KJ was a good playmaker, but he wasn't on Nash's level as a floor general nor someone who could create those highlight plays through his passing.
KJ was getting it done in the playoffs. Nash wouldn’t have been the difference in Barkley winning a championship

Maybe, maybe not.

But I was under the impression the thread you made was talking about what two players would've made a "dope tandem", not specifically about winning championships. But just two players who would've looked good together.
