I'm not trying to compare or say which is better, I'm saying that older heads or "hip hop purist" don't ever give our generation's version of Hip Hop a chance to hold it's own.

I'm 27. Old enough to be familiar with and appreciate the classics, while also recognizing that the rappers of this decade and even in the past decade (2000-2009) have made records that will no doubt be considered classic and influential in their own right. These nikkas cling to old records and refuse to see what's so great beyond the typically mentioned albums and artists.

The impact of Dreams and Nightmares alone warrants it a top Hip Hop song of all time, and that's where it should end. Don't tell me there's 100 songs "better" because it doesn't matter.
