Tren is the most little big planet -ass game I’ve played since part 2. It’s too bad more games in dreams aren’t as good as this. Felt like Dreams should have just been a constant compilation of new Media Molecule games and just ignored the user creation stuff

Will the studio that made this survive? The last of the 4 founders just left the company and I’m not sure this game did so hot.
Seriously doubt it. It sucks that I am waiting for the "shutting down" news to happen soon along with the servers for this game to end. Which sucks because I was a huge MM Stan and loved all the games that they dropped. If Dreams would have released on PC as well, it would have saved the game.

Rip.. they should make a new version... hate to be that guy but Ai would help this game immensely
Such irony :dead: .

But seriously AI for this game would make a better experience because holy moly, the control to actually make a object are all beyond frustrating.

Bad enough the tutorials were all over the place.

Someone made Super Mario Galaxy in this and it looks pretty good. I played it last night to try it out and it's alright, not as good as the real thing but the work behind it is there.

Yeah I seen it pop up on the feed but didn't try it out yet.

I was playing this lit sonic level that somebody made. It had city pop music and was a crazy good vibe.

The only thing is a lot of these games still have that tech demo game feel to them where it just doesn't get that tight control feel to them. They just feel a bit slippery.

That's sadly more on MM's trademark floaty controls :francis: . It's been that way since LBP, and I love that series. That's one of my biggest gripes about Dreams...the controls are wonky as hell. And yes, it doesn't help that most of the games on the "surf" are FNaF knock offs and 1000 different Sonic tech demos. Then you have games that are impossible to beat because the creators hate themselves, and want everybody else to suffer along with their broken emotions.

Like I shouldn't spend two hours trying to jump a platform and follow mechanics that the creator haven't tested for failure.

Dreams is sadly a game of its time that came out at the wrong time, and should have come out at the right time, if that makes sense. If the game came out around the time of PS3 era or was during the peak of PS4 with the right marketing and more updates, instant classic. But sadly, we're just waiting for the day of sunset.
