The only thing is a lot of these games still have that tech demo game feel to them where it just doesn't get that tight control feel to them. They just feel a bit slippery.

. It's been that way since LBP, and I love that series. That's one of my biggest gripes about Dreams...the controls are wonky as hell. And yes, it doesn't help that most of the games on the "surf" are FNaF knock offs and 1000 different Sonic tech demos. Then you have games that are impossible to beat because the creators hate themselves, and want everybody else to suffer along with their broken emotions.
Like I shouldn't spend two hours trying to jump a platform and follow mechanics that the creator haven't tested for failure.
Dreams is sadly a game of its time that came out at the wrong time, and should have come out at the right time, if that makes sense. If the game came out around the time of PS3 era or was during the peak of PS4 with the right marketing and more updates, instant classic. But sadly, we're just waiting for the day of sunset.
