At first - When evening comes. As you progress, you can stay out more because your ship faster. stronger and can carry more fish. Also, later in the game you can venture into zones where there are way more aberrations (night time mutated fish).

Just be patient and grind.
Once you ship upgrades (most importantly speed) and certain abilities (won't spoil it for you), traveling at night isn't that hard.

Just copped and beat it last week. Focused on finishing up one area at a time, wasn't too hard to make money once you get the nets and crab pots up. Don't be afraid to go out and fish at night early to make money, just don't get caught without an exit plan. Staying out all night gets easier once you upgrade your speed and lighting setup.

Yea I was shocked how much I enjoyed this even tho in real life I don’t fukk with large bodies of water and this plays right into that with that lovecraftian shyt . I would love a sequel
