I prefer business casual for work.

Dressing up for big time events only.

Dressing down for everything else like parties.

Dressing up= acting white? The self-hate in this thread:scust:
No. To you acting white = dressing up.

Cuz white supremacy got you believing their garments are the right garments. Suits have always been a european thing.

I'd rather wear something comfortable

:comeon:

With that logic T-Shirts, Jeans, Tennis Shoes are a european thing.

im not gonna rely on the governments word cus thats probably a lie anyway
:ehh:I'll give you that one. I always find it funny how people can just take the government's word as gospel on almost everything, then look weirdly at people who question it. Example, for years the U.S government cracked down on weed, citing it as a terrible gateway drug, now it's being sold legally in some states. I'm pretty it would be the same for other drugs if they could find a proper way to regulate it.

Let's add a little much needed context to this topic.

In the context of having to work a 9-5 being the reason you are getting "crisp af", it may not be all that celebratory worthy. Not if your goal is to be self sufficient and be your own boss, answering to your own dress code.

Which brings me to my next frame of context; dressing down at your leisure generally means you are successful, answer to no one, and are your own boss.

But dressing up and getting "crisp af" is highly desirable, including by yours truly, if it is for recreational reasons such as a night out, wedding, etc.
I love getting fresh for those occassions.

But I think all of our ultimate goals should be to not have to dress up to walk into ANYBODY's office, no matter how much money they pay us..because the goal is to be your OWN boss and be able to stroll into your OWN "office" dressed however you would like to dress.

TLDR; we're over thinking what OP intended this thread to be but since we took it there: It's okay to dress sharp if you're doing so on your own terms,

it's okay to dress down because: You're so successful that you're own your own terms.

I used to work at a job where I had to dress up every day. Now I have a job where I don't have to dress up every day. The second job is much better :ehh:

I'll get fly & dress up once in a while, but....

I rather keep it simple & comfortable. Button up, a pair of jeans, a pair of Jordans & a fitted to match.
