Thought ESPN signed him. Feel like he was on first take a month or so ago(When he said Eagles offense is boring) and from the way SAS was talking, it seemed like it was gonna be a regular appearance situation.

Drew Brees is the Sanchize's backup :ohhh: How bizarre :bryan:

I don't even know why Fox hired Mark Sanchez in the 1st place I had no interest in hearing anything he had to say about football

After the butt fumble I can't take him seriously

I liked him on commentary :manny:

These dudes really hate their families

Tom opted for another year of being chased by a gang of 300 lb men over going home and being a family man :mjlol:

I thought he worked for ESPN. Good for him. Is he gonna get 375 like tom? :heh:

Nah, he was doing contributor spots there while actively trying to get another commentating job. He's been salty about NBC giving him the boot for years. :mjlol:
Stephen A is going to say how he got Brees more visibility to pounce on this opportunity. Like a proud father watching his only son that made it.

Drew probably just wants to do this to try to prove everyone wrong because they say he sucked in his short time as an analyst at NBC.

I know it's all about opportunities presenting themselves, but how do you go from being bad and out of the job doing Notre Dame games on NBC...to being the #3 at NFL on FOX?

<Stephen A Voice> "You know, it's no secret that Drew felt that that he hadn't quite accomplished everything he could in the commentary space, so while I'm disappointed that I won't be able to talk football with him on our air as often as I used to, I'm glad that I was able to play a part in that brother being able to write his own narrative, and bring his perspective to the audience it deserves." </Stephen A Voice>

Because the rest of their announcing teams are low key kind've bad. Other than Jonathan Vilma being unintentionally hilarious whenever something disastrous is happening on field, the rest of their color commentators that aren't Greg Olson are just kind've there, and they unfortunately aren't about to bring Aqib Talib back. :mjlol:
