Basically he just now realized that there's more money to be made post career when people actually like you as opposed to people not liking you. However I still think he's on that 'don't disrespect the flag shyt' but he really he got a wake up call this past week and basically saw which path was the 'yellow brick road' to more success 4-5 years down the line from now. man Trump clearly was playing a game with Brees
he could've easily released them tweets praising Drew when the comments 1st came out. but nope he played the long game
he knew Drew was gonna apologize, so he waited until dude did that and had folks in the forgiving phase
Trump trolled the hell outta Brees bringing this back up bugging him up. he knows Brees couldn't back him publicly after apologizing

He tried that, he was hoping to catch brees between a rock and hard place by pitting Brees maga brand vs the humanity of black lives .

He was hoping to catch brees chocking or perhaps run back to him,.

However Brees answer back well, he cut straight to the issue and disabled Trump here.

The purpose is for Brees to see that yes, black people are human. Yes black people have been going through a lot of suffering at the hands of the state and private enterprise for hundreds of years.

Yes he needs to teach his fellow cacs about systemic racism that is crushing the economic opportunity of blacks in this country.
