Brees is a bit overrated but he is clearly more skilled than Dilfer. Dilfer had a nice arm tho and was better in his prime than people give him credit for.
How exactly is he overrated? He doesn't have the strongest arm....that's what makes his success even more impressive.

lol, if a player isn't good at something that's not an excuse, its just a weakness...
The reason I think Brees is overrated is because they have a really high octane/pass oriented offense which leads to big yards per game numbers for him. His skill/play in reality doesn't reflect those numbers, especially this season.

No doubt breh. He deserved MVP that year too, I was talkin more about this season tho.
I don't think Brees is overrated, but I might be in the minority who don't consider him elite yet. For me he is still one of the borderlines in that Roethlisberger/Eli category
