what does any of that have to do with this situation with Driveclub?

the "situation" isn't that serious as it appears to be imo. the game is still coming out via retail and digital without restrictions.

And for 10yrs we had the best online, best features/etc. Sony just poorly copied what M$ does and you seem satisfied with that. Your satisfied with no games til 2015, your fine with unreliable system stability, your fine with the fact PSN on ps4 has already been hacked. Hackers already have bots, have keyboard and mouse use vs controller users. The whole nine.

Nah, this is different. The deal is that PS Plus members can upgrade the free version to the retail version for 50 bucks, but it's treated like a PS Plus subscription game. Essentially they don't treat it as if you paid 60 for it so that if you don't renew Plus, you can't play the retail version you upgraded to. That IS bullshyt.
