I'm pointing out, that of course launch games aren't ready yet.

again, that was because rekka was using those pics as evidence that this rumor might not be true. in other words, "if the game's pushed back, why are they shipping demo units?" my point was that the fact they have some sort or working demo doesn't mean much anyway. the thing about them not being 'retail units' was an additional piece of evidence (indicated by me prefacing it with "plus..."), but not meant to be conclusive on it's own

btw, I read somewhere (I think on your favorite site), that the deadline for release games was Oct 15th, and that's why we saw these two recent push backs. a month from launch, these games should be more or less "ready"/"gold"

we've already set the precedent that any sort of day one patch means the game was incomplete and a crime against consumers (<--- that's sarcasm)

I wish they made a PS4 port in addition to the PS3 one because lets be honest, this game is going pale in comparison graphically to Forza 5 and DriveClub.

GT5 came out not too long ago, nobody was asking for a new GT

And if they were to make one, definitely not for the PS3. PS4? Big deal, PS3 again?
The sales will reflect, only the hardcore will get GT6 while all the casuals who played GT5 for a week (most) they will pass on GT6

it seemed to be trying to fit into some middle ground between an 'arcade' and 'sim'. the problem with that is, how do you market that as anything but 'generic driving game'? most of the 'arcade' racers have some kind of theme: drifting while shooting rockets or whatever. and the theme of the 'sim' racers is how great their simulation is: "watch how the suspension reacts to taking a corner at 150 mph"

at least you could race at night in the rain though
