I'm getting mine renewed today

It's been years since I had to get mine renewed, so I didn't know I needed an appointment. Told the woman at the front that I didn't have an appointment and she shook her head. I told her "don't shake yo damn head. Just take my info and set me up with a time"

I was on my way out and an older Black lady who was behind me told the "I actually have an appointment"

Next appointment is a lil under 2 hrs. I don't feel like goin' home and comin' back


I also need to get a Real ID, but ain't got time for that today.

I think the real id is the drivers license. You don't need a separate id.

I want a new picture every 4 years.

Should I just renew online brehs? What say you New Jersey brehs??

State ID's are for people whose license is fukked up. Unpaid tickets, DUI's, ¹child support (which is a joke), etc.

¹How you expect a man to get to work comfortably to provide for his kids if he can't drive?

Nikka ain't nobody looking at your Drivers license picture. Better do that online renewal. Mine due in a few months and it's getting done straight online.

Your drivers license is automatically the real ID, but read up on it in the 2 hrs you are waiting. They ask for more documentation than a regular drivers license.

What about the vision test

NJ doesn't require vision test for renewal.

Online take two seconds even if you dumb late doing it just pay that little fee and keep it moving. Can't be bothered going to no damn DMV.

I think it is mostly for travel. Suppose to streamline the process, but I think it is bullshyt. Just another way for the states to make more money.
