This storm was truly a mess. First we got like a 1-2 days notice, the snow predictions were all over the place. The ranges were 1-3, 3-5 or 3-7. Lastly it rained all day Saturday and Sunday night so the salt they put down got washed away. I'm glad I had nowhere to be and had food and power

Also because it was in the 60's on Sunday I'm sure a lot of people didn't think it was gonna be that bad. Usually when we have a week or a couple days of notice beforehand it's not as bad as they predict. This time we got it and got it bad. The news went off 20 minutes ago and people were finally moving... a little.

Right!! Add in going from mid 60’s to mid 20’s overnight…after it’s been raining all day.

Edit: Just saw your other reply.

So many questions. Like what were people doing for food, warmth, and to release, yknow :picard:

Nothing, mind you we woke up in the teens this morning. This morning some of them walked on the highway, in that snow and ice, to gas stations for food and water, bathrooms etc but they've been in the wild for over 24 hours. One man said he called VDOT for help and was told their concern is for the roads not people, call the police :picard:

Now they gotta deal with stranded/out of gas cars that need to be towed along with the wrecked cars from the accidents that caused the pile ups plus the snow and ice. God bless them people man
