WFH GANG with the 360 Windmill dunk from the free throw line.:picard:

This is why I always keep my tank filled up before going on the interstate/highway, you never know. I'm usually no less than a 1/4 tank driving through city streets, but I'll fill up if I'm taking the highway.

It's basic winter car maintenance to not let your tank below 1/4 and keeping injector fluid recent so the fuel line doesn't freeze. But even in the summer, if my drive is beyond 20 mins, I'm grabbing some petrol. Again, its not like it NEVER gets cold there. I'm just shocked that this always catches people off guard.

I may, or may not be responsible for everything happening on the I 95. Depends on the legal penalties :mjpls:
the entire DMV is basically snowed in. None of the governments were prepared, or there was a lot of COVID cases. Usually this type of snow storm is knocked by the morning. Mayor Bowser hasn't sent any plows down this way yet. Only main roads. I been following the trakcer, and its similar all over DC. Only downtown is supposedly clear. :damn:

Where It’s Not Safe
Also because it was in the 60's on Sunday I'm sure a lot of people didn't think it was gonna be that bad. Usually when we have a week or a couple days of notice beforehand it's not as bad as they predict. This time we got it and got it bad. The news went off 20 minutes ago and people were finally moving... a little.
Dmv got the most bipolar weather out of any place I’ve been to in my life

Was loving that 60 degree day:ahh:

This actually happened to me over the summer. We were driving from Houston to New Orleans on I-10. We got Lake Charles, NO and traffic just halted. Not 19 hours, but we were stuck for like 2 hours. Finally, we decided to back out to an exit ramp--yes, we drove backward and thankfully were only slightly past the exit ramp. Then drove a little bit and got around the accident. An RV had got fukked up like 3 miles ahead of where we were. Got around it and drove off. What should have been a five-hour trip took eight hours.

I live not too far from that exit in Dumfries and I haven't been able to leave my house by car since sunday. I actually walked to the grocery store yesterday and to my luck, The power went out. I live in a really good neighborhood, but even they(hoa) couldn't get the roads paved because so many trees are down. I'm gonna try to drive my suv and see if I can make it to the main road cause I can't instacart

Imagine if you only had a quarter of gas in the tank.... :wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow:

Some good samaritans let some folks camp out in their vehicles, otherwise, there would have been some frozen bodies come morning :francis:

This is why my dad always tells me to keep my car on full, just in case of emergency. I don't do it as much as I should, but I'm about to get back to that. :wow:

See if it was me there i'd be prepared and i'd have weed on me.
as long as I got weed, music, maybe a book, and some food i'd be good.
And i'd likely have all the above on me in the car

I would call my girl to come on the opposite side of the highway and just jump in her ride and head to get something to eat, sleep and shower and then go back in the morning

Nobody is ever prepared to be stranded for 24hrs when you planned to be out for 20mins.

Some folks were just making a quick 15min trip and got stuck for the entire night.

Yo azz would have been out there in PJ and flip flops thinkin you be home in 10mins. Nah nikka 19hrs.

Where The Grass Is Blue
I get anxiety thinking about all the different emergencies that people might have being stuck on the interstate with no resources.

1. Pregnant in labor
2. Allergic reaction
3. No fuel
4. Crying hungry child
5. Migraine
6. Explosive Diarrhea
7. Engine overheating and can't keep car running.
This whole situation a movie waiting to happen
