cuz he didnt grow up around people who talked like that, he was around the degrassi cacs and his white jew side of the family, u know damn well his mom didnt let him hang around black people, he even admitted on a song they used to make fun of him for being black
it wasnt until he became a famous rapper that he started hanging around black toronto people and he started mimicking the way they talk, and hes late to the party so hes going overboard with it

That has nothing to do with anything. At the end of the day Wu denounced that Wu-tang Forever track Aubrey did and didn't bother to do the video that he actually shot footage for.
One thing I would say is Toronto people mix a lot of patois in their slang. But it always sounds weird and forced lol. It's not like London where it kind of naturally mixes in with the way they talk.

Aswll his popularity in London & Jamaica probably was reason to push in that direction too... It's a good way to differentiate from other rappers and pop artists too imo especially in a game where people will clone your styles with the quickness
