Other years had amazing rap albums as well, but it was never the best album of that year, always felt short compared to rnb, jazz, soul, funk, rock etc.

I see, but it makes sense. TPAB, DAMN and MBDTF are worthy of being ranked in a top 10 all time

Absolutely. These aren't my favorite Kendrick / Kanye albums, but I don't think you can reasonably find a better album that these, when reviewing music objectively.

It's up there with Radiohead's OK Computer.

And thats pretty crazy considering 2017 was a poor year for rap, other than DAMN and 4:44. But at least it still gave us a goat album

I love DW but nah
