Studying this movie put me down my conspiracy theory rabbit hole phase after college.

At the same time though, when you read up on the symbolism and then see some of the stuff he hides in certain camera shots, it makes it hard to dismiss the implications he was setting forth in the last film before he died.



You want to go really far down that rabbit hole, then you can consider the fact that he died 666 days before the day they travel to in his biggest film 2001: A Space Odyssey..
