He more than likely had some mental problems that were either dormant or at the most, mildly active. That LSD will flip the power switch on any neurological problems you had in storage and get that ball rolling. shrooms was the shyt, love the trip i use to get off it.
It can be a bit more intense since shrooms are at their best when picked fresh (right out the ground) and eaten before they get a chance to wilt, so unless you was getting fresh shrooms, chances are the synthesized LSD will be more potent and give you a comparable high. When I used to fukk with LSD as well as shrooms, a chemistry major breh of ours in the crew used to synthesize that shyt at Uni so I was getting potent, unstepped on shyt that was made with love

But that's the problem with getting shyt like that nowadays, you don't know the potency or care the person that made it put into it so you might run the risk of overdosing 'cause it took too long to work and you took MORE than you should have, or you're just tweaking on acid mixed with rat poison or some other nefarious shyt fakkits be using to lengthen their product on some crack shyt.
The only problem I had with it was that it made my sense of smell extra heightened and I wanted to smell everything that interested me. It's only for so long a female will let you sniff on her neck and wrist before worrying how far you'll take shyt on some personal safety tip.
The visuals were more intense too. Like close your eyes and have shyt exploding behind your eyelids, type intense.
But be warned, if you have an active imagination like me, it won't be too long before you find yourself face to face with some shyt your mental tossed out 'cause it had the power to alter your perception/reality on some trippy shyt.
Keep calm and only drop acid when you're in a good place. shyt gets better from there on, too many people get bad trips doing drugs when they at bad places...that shyt almost always takes you to no man's land.
